“Kala Samarpanam” classical dance festival is an initiative by Nrityaranjani Fine Arts Academy, a non-profit and non-political organization with passion for excellence with an aim to promote Indian traditional dance forms and creates a refined audience for same.
The dance festival “Kala Samarpanam” is about making the Art presentation an act of surrender and worship through offerings of dance.
The instinct of inspiration, that led Smt. Revathi to begin the dance Festival Kala Samarpanam, in the year 2015, has propelled the festival to its fifth consecutive year and with the support of all its well-wishers intends to keep going on, in the years to come. Kala Samarpanam is conducted as an extension of the yearly Annual Function of the Academy where various artists have portrayed their ‘Submission’ (Samarpanam) to ‘Dance’ Art form (Kala) and inspired the audience.
Since its beginning, Kala Samarpanam Dance Festival has treated rasikas to performances by the doyens in the field of Indian Classical Dance and is committed to live by this motto thereby providing an opportunity to connoisseurs alike to witness stalwart performances.
Under the aegis of “Nrityaranjani Fine Arts Academy”, dance performances are conducted over two days showcasing different classical styles, by seasoned exponents of Classical Indian Dance.
Smt. Revathi with her untiring perseverance aspires to carve a niche for NFA in the art fraternity of India and the impact has already begun.
