Revathi's journey in Bharatanatyam commenced at the age of ten under the initial tutelage of late Guru Komalavalli Krishnamani. Thereafter she learned the nuances of the art from late Kalaimamani Shri Kadirvelu Pillai, one of the renowned Nattuvanars in India.

She also learned the intricacies of Abhinaya from Guru Padma Bhushan Smt Kalanidhi Narayanan, and continues under the guidance of Guru S. P. Srinivasan. She underwent training in Konnakol under Shri T.S. Nandakumar and currently continues with Shri Satish Krishnamurthy.

Academics

Revathi holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the Nagpur University. She is a Nritya Alankar from the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal.

Revathi has attended workshops and seminars conducted by renowned artists and has also undergone training in folk dance for several years.
